The 2025 Wagon Days poster features an original painting by local artist, Heather Mehra-Pedersen. Known for her bold, large-scale paintings, Mehra-Pederson fuses abstract expression with impressionistic detail, using palette knives to capture the emotional rhythm of landscapes through rich texture and vivid color. Her painting for this year’s poster does just that, depicting the historic Lewis Freight Ore Wagons being pulled down an old mountain road in the shadow of Bald Mountain using strokes of striking color and relief.
